Avixio Projects, a reputable Oil and Gas company, is recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize industrial processes in our operations. The ideal candidate will analyze workflows, identify areas for improvement, and apply engineering principles to enhance productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing or production processes. Evaluate existing processes and identify improvements for efficiency, cost, and safety. Prepare detailed process documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations and industry standards. Support the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and processes. Analyze data and generate reports for management and technical teams. Perform process simulations and calculations to support design decisions. Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, quality, and safety. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience: in a process engineering role (industry-specific experience: preferred). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD, MATLAB). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PE license). Experience: in regulated oil & gas industries. Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., DCS, PLC).
