The role provides strategic financial leadership, supports project profitability, and ensures sound financial management across all construction projects and business operations. The Head of Accounts is responsible for leading the finance and accounting function of the company by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, statutory compliance, budgeting, cost control, and financial governance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Lead and oversee all accounting, treasury, payroll, taxation, and financial reporting activities. Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies. Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditures to maximize profitability. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Manage accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and fixed asset registers. Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and project financial performance. Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to Management to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and all statutory reporting requirements. Supervise and develop the accounting team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's Degree or MBA is an added advantage. ACA, ACCA, or ICAN certification is mandatory.
