IT Infrastructure Support Intern Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Lagos Job Field ICT / Computer Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure (e.g., servers, networks, storage). Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment. Monitor system performance, uptime, and security, and respond to incidents or outages. Help automate repetitive tasks using scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python). Support infrastructure as code (IaC) implementations using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Assist in enforcing security best practices, including access control and vulnerability management. Provide technical support for internal systems and infrastructure-related issues. Required Qualifications HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs). Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, version control). Familiarity with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Preferred Skills: Experience: with containerization tools such as Docker. Familiarity with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools. Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). Exposure to security best practices in cloud and infrastructure environments.
