We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: IT Operations Manager Location: Kano Industry: FMCG Job Summary / Business Need The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT operations and providing effective technical support. Responsibilities: Provide frontline technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and ERP systems to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted business operations. Oversee all IT-related activities at the site. Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including OS deployment, system upgrades, and hardware troubleshooting. Provide first-line ERP support, resolving user access issues and transaction errors while escalating system bugs when necessary (SAP and other business applications). Support network and shared printers, including driver configuration and scan-to-email/folder troubleshooting. Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and VPN access. Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configuration (Google environment). Diagnose and resolve software, login, and Active Directory access issues. Log and resolve incidents through a helpdesk system, ensuring SLA compliance and user satisfaction. Requirements: Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator and Google Platforms. Hands-on experience: with Windows OS installation, configuration, and maintenance. Basic understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, VPN). CompTIA A+. Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. ITIL Foundation (for service management environments). 3–5 years of experience: in end-user technical support. Strong troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
