You will be responsible for opening new accounts, managing existing clients, and hitting volume targets in a competitive petroleum market Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Entry level Experience: Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales: Identify and onboard new corporate clients, manufacturers, construction firms, hotels, telcos, and fuel stations needing AGO and PMS. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing bulk buyers and station owners to ensure retention and repeat orders. Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales, volume, and revenue KPIs for A.G.O. and P.M.S. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit limits, and supply agreements in line with company policy. Market & Product Expertise: Stay updated on DPR/NMDPRA regulations, pump price trends, depot prices, and competitor activities in Lagos and surrounding states. Advise clients on supply options: ex-depot, truck-out, direct supply, and credit facilities. Operations & Reporting: Coordinate with logistics, loading, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and documentation. Prepare daily sales reports, client visit reports, and market intelligence reports. Ensure all transactions comply with company credit policy and anti-fraud guidelines. Customer Service: Handle client inquiries, complaints, and after-sales follow-up professionally. Position Maplesgate as a reliable, safety-compliant, and timely supplier. Requirements: A minimum of an HND in marketing, business administration, engineering, or a related field. 2-4 years of proven sales experience: in petroleum downstream, oil & gas, FMCG, or B2B sales. Direct experience: selling A.G.O/P.M.S is a strong advantage. Existing relationships with fuel stations, transporters, manufacturers, or corporate procurement teams are a plus. Strong negotiation and closing skills Good understanding of petroleum pricing, margins, and credit risk Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Target-driven, self-motivated, and resilient Proficient in MS Office. CRM experience: is an advantage Must have valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel and visit depots, stations, and client sites.
