The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the subsidiary's business strategy, driving revenue and profitability, developing strategic partnerships, overseeing agricultural and agro-allied operations, managing key customers and suppliers, and building a high-performing team. This is a senior leadership role for an individual who can combine agricultural knowledge, commercial acumen and strong business management capability to build and scale an agro-allied business. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage. Minimum of 6 years' relevant professional experience: , with at least 3 years in a management or leadership position . Demonstrable experience: in agriculture, agribusiness, agro-allied products, agricultural inputs, commodity trading, agricultural production, distribution or a related sector. Strong commercial and business development experience, with evidence of generating revenue and growing business operations. Experience: managing budgets, financial performance and business targets. Strong understanding of agricultural value chains and the Nigerian agro-allied market. Experience: developing and managing relationships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, corporate customers and other stakeholders. Strong negotiation, business development and strategic planning skills. Excellent leadership, people-management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound commercial decisions. High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism. Willingness and ability to travel as required for business operations.
