We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Mechanical Manager - Power Plant Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi Job Summary The Mechanical Manager-Power Plant at Dangote Cement Plc ensures all mechanical maintenance services in the Power Plant are carried out within established guidelines and standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Implement Preventive and Predictive Maintenance schedules Prioritize and assign mechanical system related work orders to skilled maintenance staff. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Power Plant Head /Section head from time to time. Direct assigned maintenance staff in resolving complex and/or difficult maintenance issues. Generate work orders for identified mechanical problems. Prioritize personnel safety & health and ensure good housekeeping during all maintenance jobs. Ensure all mechanical maintenance and repairs carried out meets the established procedures and standards. Requirements: A minimum of Fifteen (15) years of Power Plant relevant work experience: in Gas based power plant operations. A Bachelor’s degree or it's equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Very good analytical and problem solving skills Knowledge on Mechanical maintenance of Gas Turbine, Air Compressor, NG Compressor, Cooling Towers, various types of centrifugal & positive displacement pumps, various types of valves, Firefighting System and other equipment’s maintenance e.g. R.O. & Water Treatment plant.
