Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to detect discrepancies. Coordinate preparation and ensure the accuracy of all stock-related documents (e.g., GRNs, waybills, delivery notes). Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First-Out) principles. Report low stock levels and coordinate restocking. Identify and report slow-moving stock to prevent expiry. Assist in stock audits and ensure supporting documents are filed and available for review. Submit daily and weekly performance and stock reports to the Head of Warehouse. Conduct daily stock counts and reconcile physical vs. system records. Report stock variances, damages, or shortages to the Head of Warehouse Operations, with root cause analysis and suggested resolutions. Maintain accurate stock records using manual or digital tools. Ensure all inventory activities follow the company’s SOPs and stock handling guidelines. Oversee proper storage practices: product labeling, stacking, and safe handling (especially for perishables).
