We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Farm Worker Location: Akure, Ondo Job type: Full-time Responsibilities: Farm Workers will also help to maintain clean and organised farm areas, monitor crops for pests or diseases and report any concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor. Duties will include preparing land, planting, watering, weeding, applying approved fertilisers, harvesting crops and assisting with the general care and management of farm produce and equipment. Farm Workers will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the school's farm and agricultural projects. Qualifications Relevant agricultural, horticultural or vocational training will be an added advantage. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Ability to use and maintain basic gardening, farming or poultry equipment safely. Practical knowledge or experience: in gardening, farming, poultry production or a related agricultural field. Ability to carry out physically demanding outdoor work. Knowledge of hygiene, health and safety procedures. Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of basic plant care, crop cultivation, animal or poultry care, depending on the specific role. Good observation, organisational and time-management skills.
