The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to management. Responsibilities: Liaise with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies. Supervise account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly. Coordinate external audits and provide required documentation. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the company’s general ledger and ensure accurate postings. Monitor accounts payable and receivable operations. Supervise junior accounting staff and provide mentorship. Support business growth through financial strategy and risk management. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory obligations. Develop and improve financial policies and internal control systems. Ensure payroll accuracy and financial integrity. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor cash flow and financial performance indicators. Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making. Educational Qualification Must be a Chartered Accountant (Associate level) - ICAN/ACCA/ANAN. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Masters of Business Administration is an added advantage. Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years accounting experience: (Note: Years of experience: is highly required) Experience: in publishing, manufacturing, or FMCG sector is an advantage.
