We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Solution Design Engineer Job Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Summary The Solution Design Engineer is responsible for designing reliable and efficient solar PV and battery energy storage solutions for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers. The role focuses on developing system designs, performing technical calculations, preparing engineering drawings, and ensuring all proposed solutions meet customer requirements: and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Design solar PV and battery energy storage systems for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects. Conduct site assessments, energy audits, load analysis, and shading assessments where required. Develop system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and other engineering drawings. Perform system sizing and technical calculations using industry-standard design software. Ensure all designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines. Optimize system performance, cost, and energy yield while meeting customer requirements. Support the sales and project teams with technical design information when required. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 3–5 years of experience: in solar PV system design or renewable energy engineering. Professional certification in Solar PV Design or Renewable Energy is an added advantage. Strong experience: designing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar PV and battery energy storage systems. Proficiency with solar design software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or similar tools. Strong understanding of electrical system design, protection systems, and relevant engineering standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
