We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: MEP, Utilities & Building Systems Manager Location: Utako, Abuja Job Description Manage the planning, coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, water supply, drainage, power, lighting and building utility systems across UR9 Group's projects. Supervise MEP contractors, technicians, vendors and site teams to ensure timely project execution, proper workmanship, system integration, defect resolution, maintenance readiness and smooth handover of all building services. Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQS, material submissions, contractor proposals and technical designs to ensure all building systems are practical, cost-effective, compliant and aligned with UR9's quality, safety and luxury finishing standards. Qualifications & Experience: Must have practical experience: managing MEP works on residential, commercial, estate, hospitality and infrastructure projects with strong knowledge of drawings interpretation, site execution, testing, commissioning and contractor supervision. Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience: in MEP coordination, building services, utility systems, construction project supervision, facilities engineering or technical installations. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or any related engineering discipline. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong reporting, cost-control, documentation, safety-compliance and communication skills for working with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, procurement teams, contractors, facility teams and UR9 management. Excellent project coordination, site supervision, contractor management, quality control, troubleshooting and commissioning skills with the ability to identify technical faults and recommend practical solutions. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems including electrical installations, plumbing networks, systems, pumps, generators, water HVAC, drainage, fire protection, power distribution, lighting systems, treatment and building utilities.
