We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Agency Processing Specialist Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Objective (s) The role ensures seamless transaction processing, timely resolution of exceptions, accurate reconciliation and settlement, and efficient support for agency banking operations. The Agency Processing Specialist is responsible for supporting the effective processing, monitoring, and operational management of transactions and services across the organisation’s Agency Banking Platforms. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide operational support for agency banking platforms, including agent onboarding, configuration, parameter updates, transaction limits, and other platform-related activities. Generate and analyse operational, transaction, reconciliation, and performance reports to support business decisions and management reporting. Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, banks, and other stakeholders to resolve operational and transaction-related issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency while maintaining the reliability and quality of agency banking services. Investigate and resolve transaction disputes, complaints, failed transactions, and processing exceptions in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Ensure adherence to established operational procedures, service level agreements, information security requirements, regulatory guidelines, and applicable agency banking standards. Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, integrations, and changes affecting agency banking transaction processing and operations. Monitor transaction flows, system interfaces, exceptions, reversals, failed transactions, and other processing issues, ensuring timely investigation and resolution. Monitor and manage agency banking transaction processing across relevant platforms, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service levels. Perform daily transaction reconciliation and support settlement processes, identifying and resolving discrepancies between systems, banks, agents, and other stakeholders. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience: 5 – 8 years of relevant experience: in agency banking, transaction processing, payments operations, digital banking, fintech, banking operations, or a related environment.
