We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Field Anti-Fraud Officer Locations: Lagos and Ogun Employment Type: Contract Summary The role will focus primarily on investigating cases involving Business Developers/agents and merchants, including suspected collusion, merchant deception, manipulation of business information, unauthorized activities, fraudulent onboarding, and other forms of misconduct that may result in financial loss to the business or its merchants. We are looking for a Field Anti-Fraud Officer to support the SME business in identifying, investigating, and preventing fraud arising from field sales and merchant activities. Key Responsibilities: Investigate allegations of BDs or agents defrauding, misleading, or taking advantage of merchants. Investigate suspected fraud involving BDs/agents, merchants, and other field-facing personnel. Identify inconsistencies, suspicious patterns, and potential gaps in field processes that may facilitate fraud. Conduct field visits to verify merchant businesses, locations, transactions, and reported activities. Requirements: Good communication skills and confidence conducting interviews and investigative calls with merchants and field agents. Must reside in either Lagos or Ogun 1-2 years of experience: in fraud investigation, field verification, loan operations, credit, collections, field operations, or a related role Strong investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience: in fintech, digital lending, banking, or financial services is mandatory.
