The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain assigned vehicles in good working condition, and adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company transportation policies. Key Responsibilities: Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and proper conduct while representing the company. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness. Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies. Ensure timely pick-up and delivery while following assigned schedules and routes. Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance issues promptly to management. Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tire pressure, and other vehicle maintenance requirements. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle at all times. Plan routes effectively to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure efficiency. Safely transport staff, goods, materials, or company assets to designated locations. Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required. Ensure all vehicle documents including license, insurance, and registration are valid and up to date. Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. 2–5 years proven experience: as a professional driver. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with local routes, highways, and navigation within assigned locations. Physically fit and able to handle long-distance driving when necessary. Minimum of an SSCE/OND qualification or equivalent. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required. Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
