Coordinate the tending of solvent extraction equipment that extracts oil from rice bran, soybeans, Palm Kernel, Shea nuts etc. Manage temperature and steam pressure gauges, flowmeters and ammeters, and turns valves or handwheels to regulate temperature and flow of material in equipment within specified limits. Ensure tests samples of material for conformity to plant standards, using scales, moisture meter, and hydrometer, or by titration. Record indicator readings and test results. Perform a variety of inspection and gauging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards and specifications, and record readings as necessary in inspection software· Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following all Company safety policies and procedures. Ensure all production reports are properly documented· Facilitate GMP and good housekeeping practices in the plant· Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data. Get the consent of the data subject before collecting, processing, and using data. Adhere to the requirements: of FSSC, Feed Safety, GMP and QMS as it relates to job function. Requirements: Degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields Minimum 5 years’ working experience: in high mass volume manufacturing environment as a shift supervisor.
