Read more about this company Electrical Technician / Foreman Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 3 years Location Kogi Job Field Engineering / Technical Job Summary We are seeking two skilled, experienced, and dependable Electrical Technicians/Foremen to oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at the project site. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising electrical works, coordinating technicians and artisans, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidates should have strong practical electrical experience, good leadership abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a project environment with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities. Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. Lead and supervise electricians, technicians, and other site personnel. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Ensure electrical works are carried out according to approved designs, standards, and specifications. Identify electrical faults and implement appropriate corrective measures. Monitor the quality and progress of electrical works and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and materials. Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain records of work completed, materials used, faults identified, and maintenance activities. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Report project progress, technical issues, and material requirements: to the appropriate supervisor or project manager. Perform other electrical and supervisory duties as assigned. Requirements: Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience: in electrical installation, maintenance, or related technical work. Technical certification, Trade Test, NABTEB, OND, HND, or equivalent qualification will be an advantage. Proven experience: supervising electrical technicians or artisans. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures and standards. Must be physically fit and capable of working on-site. Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.
