We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Procurement & Supply Chain Officer Location: Abuja Job type: Full-time Job Summary The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Procurement & Supply Chain Officer is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, procurement planning, contract administration, inventory optimization, logistics coordination, and supply chain continuity to support uninterrupted factory operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain procurement records and support internal and external audits. Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies. Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, service levels, and commercial terms. Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, spare parts, and operational supplies. Conduct supplier due diligence, performance evaluations, and contract management. Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards. Coordinate inventory replenishment and stock optimization activities. Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with operational requirements. Requirements: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and procurement software. Strong organizational and reporting capabilities. Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations. Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills. Qualifications: Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent will be an added advantage. B.Sc / HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. 3 – 5 years experience: in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or inventory management, preferably within manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, or industrial operations.
