What to expect Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of imaging equipment. Train and mentor junior staff or interns, when required. Participate in quality control, audits, and continuous professional development activities. Perform and interpret high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasounds, and specialized radiographic studies. Operate and maintain radiology and sonography equipment in compliance with safety standards. Adhere to radiation protection protocols for patients, staff, and self. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety. Ensure accurate patient positioning and appropriate selection of imaging techniques for diagnostic accuracy. Essential education, experience: and skills Current practicing license with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). Proficiency in both radiographic imaging and ultrasound techniques.
