We are looking for an analytical and creative Paid Social & Digital Ads Intern to support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid ad campaigns across the emPawa Africa roster. Working closely with the Marketing team, you will focus on leveraging Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Snapchat Ads to drive music streams, video views, and audience acquisition for artist releases, and brand initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Ad Campaign Setup & Execution: Assist in setting up, launching, and managing paid media campaigns on Meta (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok Ads Manager, and Snapchat Ads Manager. Ad Creative Optimization: Work with creative teams to source, format, and adapt visual assets (short-form video, spark ads, interactive filters, story ads) tailored to the specs and trends of each platform. Audience Targeting & Segmentation: Research and build target audiences using custom audiences, lookalikes, interest targeting, and pixel tracking to reach relevant music fans. Daily Performance Monitoring: Monitor active ad accounts daily to track performance, optimize pacing, monitor CPM/CPC/ROAS, and adjust bids or targeting as needed. Data Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (CPI, CTR, CPA, view-through rate) across Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat, helping compile weekly and post-campaign performance reports. Budget & Invoice Management: Track daily ad spend across accounts to ensure campaigns remain within allocated budgets and assist with processing billing and invoices. The Ideal Candidate Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Snapchat Ads Manager interfaces. Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable working with marketing metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS) and translating data into actionable optimizations. Music & Culture Passion: Deep understanding of current music trends, short-form viral video formats, and digital consumption habits across African and global audiences. Detail-Oriented & Organized: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple ad budgets, tracking links, and creative assets simultaneously.
