Our client, in the FMCG Sector is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial management functions and provide strategic financial insights that support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks and leakages. Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation and control measures. Review financial transactions, expenses, inventory-related costs, sales revenue, and other business activities to ensure accuracy and accountability. Manage relationships with banks, external auditors, tax authorities, regulatory bodies, and other financial stakeholders. Oversee internal and external financial audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Develop and implement financial strategies that enhance business performance and profitability. Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Drive effective cost management and identify opportunities to improve profitability. Monitor financial activities across the company's outlets and ensure adherence to approved financial procedures. Perform any other duties and responsibilities: assigned by Management. Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop the Finance/Accounts team to achieve high performance and efficiency. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes. Support Senior Management in financial decision-making, business planning, and long-term strategic initiatives. Prepare and review accurate and timely financial reports for Management. Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and overall financial position. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience: in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis, and internal controls. Experience: managing audits and relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies. Minimum of 8 years' experience: in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial position. Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is required. Proficiency in financial management software, accounting applications, and ERP systems. Strong FMCG experience: is highly desirable and will be given significant consideration. BSc / M.Sc. / MBA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
