Read more about this company Information Management Assistant Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 2 years Location Lagos Job Field ICT / Computer Summary: The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Information Management Assistant position in the Management office. Duties Under the general direction of the Information Systems Officer. The incumbent assists the Information Systems Center with managing and administering the embassy's OpenNet network, Classified network, secure voice and data processing equipment. Assist with the Diplomatic Pouch and mail operations. Maintain COMSEC accountability. The incumbent will be assigned special projects supporting Mission needs. Education: Requirements: Completion of university studies is required. Experience: Two (2) years of computer-related working experience: is required. Job Knowledge: Knowledge of IT systems is required. Knowledge of the functions, personnel, and practices of the Consulate and its associated agencies is required. Must understand network and computer systems and basic electronics. Must be familiar with all industry standard tools, test equipment, and procedures for running cables, terminating cables, installing patch panels, installing workstations, servers, printers, and other peripherals. Skills And Abilities: Proven technical skills in troubleshooting and resolving Information Technology and Communications hardware and software issues is required. Must be fully familiar with the Windows 11 Operating System. Must have the ability to manually exchange/repair electronic equipment as necessary. Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills are required. Keyboard skills that include a good working speed is required.
