We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Credit Analyst Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Description / Responsibilities: Financial Statement Analysis: Evaluate economic, socio political and regulatory factors that may affect the continuity or operations of the loan client. Ascertain the Profitability, Liquidity, and Leverage ratio of the business to determine repayment capacity. Recommend eligible loan amounts for approval Credit Risk assessment Analyze financial statements, credit reports and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of SME and privatel loan clients. Evaluate credit risk associated withloan request and provide recommendations on credit limits, terms and condition. Collateral Recommendation: Recommend appropriate collateral mix acceptable by the bank to act as a buffer in the event of loan default Ensure the value of the asset to be pledged as collateral meets the Bank’s stipulated collateral coverage. Ensure assets to be pledged as collateral are adequately valued by the Bank’s accredited valuers. Loan Interview: Communicate with clients to gather financial information, clarify credit report discrepancies and provide credit decisions. Visit the client’s business premises for advanced due diligence depending on the loan amount or threshold set by the bank. Loan performance Review and Reporting: Generate a report to Management showing the collection efficiency rate of SME and private loans processed monthly. Review the performance of loan portfolio on a monthly basis Requirements: / Qualifications Bachelor's degree/HND preferably in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics. (other disciplines can be considered) Minimum of 2 years’ experience: as a creditanalyst.
