The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily financial reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Bank's financial records. Min Qualification: OND Experience: Level: Entry level Experience: Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances. Reconcile interbank and electronic payment transactions (NIBSS, NIP, POS, ATM, USSD, Mobile Banking, etc.). Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation exceptions promptly. Monitor outstanding and unresolved transactions and ensure timely resolution. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports. Ensure accurate posting and balancing of financial transactions. Liaise with internal departments and external service providers to resolve reconciliation issues. Maintain proper documentation and reconciliation records for audit and regulatory purposes. Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Carry out other finance-related duties as may be assigned by Management. Requirements: A minimum of OND/HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or any related discipline. A minimum of 0–2 years' relevant experience: in reconciliation, finance, accounting, or banking operations. Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ATS, or equivalent) will be an added advantage. Required Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Basic understanding of banking operations and financial reconciliation processes. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
