Responsibilities: Engage family members and caregivers in clients’ care plans Review clients’ physical and psychological needs Maintain a secure health environment for clients Check stock levels and refill office’s supply inventory Monitor the progress of rehabilitation plans, e.g. activities for regaining motor skills Research and recommend tasks and activities based on clients’ physical and mental condition Conduct administrative tasks (e.g. updating records) Research new rehabilitation treatments and techniques Demonstrate to clients and primary caregivers how to use special equipment (e.g. wheelchairs) Ensure all special equipment works properly Requirements: and skills A compassionate and resilient personality Great knowledge of federal, state, and governmental health standards Strong communication skills Hands-on experience: with rehabilitation programs Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy is a plus.
