We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Cashier Location: Ikoyi, Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to manage customer transactions, process payments accurately, maintain proper sales records, and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Operate the POS/cash register accurately and efficiently. Report cash shortages, discrepancies, or suspicious transactions immediately. Maintain accurate daily sales and cash reconciliation records. Balance cash and POS transactions at the end of each shift. Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded. Verify payments before completing customer transactions. Receive and process customer payments through cash, POS, bank transfers, and other approved payment channels. Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary. Follow company policies and procedures relating to cash handling and customer service. Ensure the cashier station and surrounding area remain clean and organized. Assist with stock checks, product arrangement, and other store operations when required. Attend to customers professionally and respond to enquiries. Requirements: 1–2 years of experience: as a Cashier, Retail Assistant, Teller, or in a similar customer-facing role. Minimum of OND in any relevant discipline; HND/B.Sc. is an added advantage. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple transactions. Good knowledge of POS terminals and electronic payment methods. High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
