The successful candidate will drive quality assurance initiatives, oversee welding and material testing, implement continuous improvement strategies, and lead a high-performing quality team to support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Quality Management: Review, validate, and issue quality documentation and certification in accordance with customer requirements. Monitor production quality and ensure adherence to approved quality specifications. Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Prepare and implement quality plans for manufacturing and processing activities. Coordinate welding inspections, material testing, and qualification of welding procedures. Monitor industry developments and recommend improvements to quality systems and processes. Ensure compliance with applicable ISO, NEN-ISO, customer, and regulatory quality standards. Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's Quality Control policies, procedures, and systems. Leadership & Operations: Lead, mentor, and supervise the Quality Control team, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with established procedures. Allocate work effectively, conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support employee development. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence within the department. Manage departmental budgets, resources, and quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new quality personnel where required.
