Read more about this company Painter Job Type Full Time Qualification Vocational Experience: 3 - 6 years Location Lagos City Victoria Island Job Field Engineering / Technical Salary Range ₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month Key Responsibilities: Inspect and assess surfaces to determine appropriate preparation methods, including removal of mold, stains, and repair of damaged areas. Prepare surfaces for painting by filling cracks and holes, sanding, and applying primers and sealers to ensure optimal finish and durability. Execute interior and exterior painting works, including façade applications, using ladders and scaffolding where required. Apply paints, putty, and specialized coatings with precision, including spray painting across surfaces such as walls, wood, metal, doors, windows, and ceilings. Carry out surface preparation and finishing techniques, including POP works, screeding, and gloss applications to achieve high-quality results. Protect surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures with appropriate materials such as nylon sheets and masking tape. Demonstrate strong communication, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and safety awareness in all assigned tasks. Relevant work experience: / Qualification: NABTEB / Trade Test qualification in Carpentry or a related field. 3 - 6 years of proven experience: as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ability to mix and apply several types of paint, including Oil paint, Emulsion Paint, Enamel Paint, Bituminous Paint, Aluminum Paint, Anti-Corrosive Paint, Synthetic Rubber Paint, Cement Paint, etc. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
