Post a Job CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATSAPP CHANNEL Accountant Job at Cuanu Consult Limited Cuanu Consult Limited - Our client, an ISO Accredited Medical Diagnostic Centre (Laboratory & Imaging Services) providing laboratory and imaging investigations is seeking a highly competent candidate to establish and manage its finance function in the capacity below: Job Position: Accountant Job Location : Mainland, Lagos Job Type: Full-time Job Summary This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional to build sound financial systems and ensure regulatory compliance within a fast-growing healthcare organisation. Job Description Establish and maintain an effective accounting and financial reporting system. Prepare monthly Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Financial Reports. Prepare management accounts and financial performance reports. Conduct monthly inventory verification of laboratory reagents, consumables, imaging supplies, and other inventory items. Reconcile cash, bank transfers, POS payments, and other collections daily and monthly. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reconciliation reports. Develop and implement an appropriate costing structure for laboratory and imaging investigations. Monitor operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Process payroll and statutory deductions. Handle remittance and filing of VAT, PAYE, Pension, WHT, NSITF, NHF, and other applicable statutory obligations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Coordinate external audits and maintain proper financial documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. 2-3years of accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. Experience: in financial reporting, taxation, inventory management, and internal controls. Good understanding of accounting standards and financial compliance requirements. Skills Set: Strong financial reporting and accounting skills. Excellent knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong reconciliation and analytical skills. Inventory management and stock control experience. Budget preparation and financial forecasting. Cost accounting and pricing analysis. Attention to detail and high level of integrity. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines. Salary N300,000 per month.
