Electrical Technician Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 4 years Location Lagos Job Field Engineering / Technical Responsibilities: Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Identify electrical hazards and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency. Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment. Maintain accurate records and documentation of electrical maintenance activities and repairs. Provide technical support during emergency power outages and equipment breakdowns. Repair or replace faulty electrical components to minimize production downtime. Diagnose electrical faults in production machinery and plant equipment. Identify root causes of electrical failures and implement effective corrective actions. Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns during production. Monitor electrical control panels and ensure they function correctly. Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure safety and reliability. Monitor power supply systems, generators, and distribution boards. Work closely with mechanical technicians, engineers, and production staff to ensure smooth plant operations. Provide technical support during production and maintenance activities. Qualifications and Requirements: HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 4 years practical experience: as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment. Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Have good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation processes. Demonstrate the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings accurately. Be physically fit and capable of working in a factory. Salary / Benefits: N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
