The steward / kitchen porter is also responsible for waste management, proper storage of cleaned equipment, maintaining hygienic work environments, assisting with inventory handling, and supporting banquet and restaurant operations. The role is essential in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP principles, occupational health and safety standards, and the hotel's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
