The Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing ESG datafrom sustainability reports, financial reports, and other sources to support our ESG ratings efforts. Key Responsibilities: Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract finance and ESG-related data from sustainability reports, financial statements, and various public sources. Assess the quality and reliability of ESG information obtained. Identify and interpret key ESG indicators and metrics, including environmental impact, social responsibility initiatives, and governance practices. ESG Ratings Methodology: Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in the data extraction process. Participate in the continuous improvement of our ratings system. Contribute to the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for evaluating ESG performance. Research and Monitoring: Contribute to research on ESG developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices. Contribute to industry-specific research and ESG thematic analysis. Data Management: Maintain comprehensive and organized databases of ESG data. Assist the Data analysis and statistics teams to enhance data collection and management systems. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular validation processes. Reporting and Communication Communicate ESG data findings effectively to the ratings team and other relevant departments. Assist with whatsoever task necessary for the preparation of ESG reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications financial analysis techniques. Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python, Tableau). Effective communication and the ability to collaborate within a team. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
