We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accountant Location: Aguda, Surulere, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience: maintaining accurate financial records. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sound financial decision-making. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting activities. Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Assist management by providing accurate financial analysis and reports for decision-making. Generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and general accounts. Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly. Record and process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately. Requirements: Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) is an added advantage. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience. High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
