They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Logistics Officer Locations: Akwa Ibom, Delta, and Imo Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Civil Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Maintain supply chain inventory and Arrangement of required Vehicle support on site. Collaborate with Project team teams to ensure that orders are fulfilled for Site and Local distribution. Prepare daily at the closing hour and monthly report. Relationship management with vendors. Communicate with suppliers and vendors to manage costs. Implement approved HSE policies and procedures. Managing an inventory planning and control process mechanism. As a Logistic Officer, you are assigned to safely, timely and economically prepare and support the Logistic activities for the pipeline project. Performance driven and resulted oriented individual. Ensure local supply chain processes meet legal requirements: and standards. Coordination with Warehouse and other stack holders / Supervisor / Engineer Operations. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) and NAVISION logistics software. Monthly report generation on import costs, inventory management &logistics. Issue loading authority to customer driver based on request and approval only. Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Basic Understanding of logistics operations and practices. Provide guidance to employees on the Supply Chain processes. All requests/drivers must be adequately attended on time. Strict compliance of company policies and procedures. Issue management and resolution (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents). Any other responsibility that may be assigned. Find alternative cost-effective solutions. Determine key logistics KPIs. Evaluate and report on KPIs Suggest solutions for process improvements, reducing cost and increasing efficiency within the supply chain. Identify process bottlenecks and agree and implement solutions in a timely manner. Skill set: Bachelor’s Degree any Administrative, Engineering or related fields or equivalent qualification. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good public speaking skills. Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
