As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking competent, customer-focused, and detail-oriented staff to fill the position below: Job Position: Ticketing, Reservation & Tour Package Officer Job Location: Abuja Employment type: Full-time Slots: 2 Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for handling airline reservations and ticketing, providing excellent customer service, preparing travel quotations and itineraries and supporting the company’s tour package unit. Key Responsibilities: Ticketing/Reservation Duties: Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellations and refunds. Sourcing, calculating and quoting basic and complex airfares for the purpose of making reservations, confirmation and subsequent issue of airline ticket as may be requested and agreed to by our corporate and individual clients. Search and compare flight schedules, fares and availability using GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre and Travel Port (Galileo/Worldspan) Articulate in writing a daily transaction summary detailing all ticket requests and the status of all transactions. Follow Airline fare rules, ticketing policies and industry procedures. Provide timely and professional responses to customer enquiries. Foster relationships with leading tour industries for cost-effective packages. Explore and secure tailored tour packages to meet customer needs. Requirements: Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./HND) in a relevant field Minimum of Second-Class Lower/Lower Credit Experience: Requirements: 2–3 years of relevant experience: in airline ticketing, reservations and travel agency. Hands-on experience: with Amadeus or other GDS platforms. Strong knowledge of airline fare rules, routes and ticketing procedures. Required Skills: Proficiency in Amadeus GDS and airline reservation procedures. Excellent Customer service skills Good computer and Microsoft Office (Excel) skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines. Good negotiation and persuasion abilities Personal Attributes: Integrity and high ethical standards Ability to work with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills Team player with a proactive attitude.
