Original source description

Afrihood Development Company is the trusted real estate solution provider changing the face of Africa one building at a time Project CEO Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Lagos City Ilupeju Job Field Administration / Facilities You will: Drive sales and offtake across Afrihood projects within your territory Build relationships with prospective buyers, investors, landowners, businesses and community stakeholders Develop a powerful network of local and external sales channels Generate leads continuously and convert them into transactions Identify new land, JV and development opportunities across the territory Build relationships with property owners and originate potential projects Represent Afrihood visibly within the community Build and lead local sales and business-development teams Use social media aggressively to market projects, build trust and generate demand Develop partnerships with agents, brokers, businesses, associations and influential members of the community Understand the local property market intimately — what people want, what they can afford and what will sell Take commercial ownership of Afrihood's growth within the territory You are effectively building Afrihood Ilupeju as a business , not simply managing one project. Who We Are Looking ForYou Must Be Rooted Here You must currently live in or be deeply rooted within Ilupeju, Palmgrove, Onipanu, Fadeyi or Mushin. We don't want someone who merely knows the area. We want someone the area knows. You should have meaningful relationships, social capital and a reputation within your community. People should be willing to take your calls, listen to you and trust your word. You Must Be a Natural Seller You don't necessarily need to have spent your career in real estate. But you must be someone who naturally markets, persuades, networks, negotiates and closes. You see opportunities everywhere. You are comfortable approaching strangers, making calls, attending events, following leads relentlessly and asking for the sale. You Must Be Extremely Energetic This role requires unusual drive. We want someone who is restless for results, highly social, commercially aggressive, resourceful and capable of creating momentum without waiting to be pushed. If you need someone constantly telling you what to do next, this role is not for you. You Must Be Highly Active on Social Media You should already be a heavy social-media user and understand instinctively how attention, networks and digital influence work. You should be comfortable being publicly associated with Afrihood Ilupeju, talking about projects, creating conversations, engaging prospects and turning your online network into real business relationships. You Must Be a Leader You should have presence. You can assemble people, lead teams, build relationships, negotiate difficult situations and command respect without needing a corporate title to give you authority. We value street intelligence, emotional intelligence and commercial intelligence as much as formal qualifications. You Must Have a Track Record Show us something you have built, sold, grown, organised or led successfully. It could be a business, sales organisation, community, professional practice, property operation, association or another serious venture. We are interested in evidence that you can start things, move people and finish what you start. Integrity Is Non-Negotiable You will represent the Afrihood brand, handle commercially sensitive relationships and potentially build significant personal wealth through the territory you lead. Your reputation must therefore withstand scrutiny. Successful candidates will undergo references, reputational checks and due diligence. This Is Not a Salary Job The Project CEO joins Afrihood as an entrepreneurial partner , not a conventional salaried employee. Your upside comes primarily from two sources: Sales Sharing You earn directly from sales generated across the projects you lead. Equity Ownership You can earn and vest equity in the Afrihood area company you lead as projects achieve defined milestones. The objective is not to give you another monthly salary. It is to give an exceptional local entrepreneur the institutional platform to build substantial long-term income and ownership from developing their own community. Because earnings follow project and sales performance rather than a monthly payroll, applicants should already have a business, profession or other means of meeting their normal living expenses while building the territory. Your Territory. Your Future Projects. Your appointment begins with Afrihood's active Palmgrove project , but it is not limited to that development. The ambition is to identify, structure, develop and sell multiple Afrihood developments across Ilupeju, Palmgrove, Onipanu, Fadeyi and Mushin over time. Perform exceptionally, and you are not simply completing a project. You are building a company and an equity position around the community you already call home. Important: Exclusivity & Non-Compete Because of the commercial responsibility, territory, institutional resources, confidential information and long-term equity opportunity attached to this role, appointment will be subject to strict exclusivity, confidentiality, conflict-of-interest and non-compete provisions as set out in the final Project CEO agreement. Applicants should therefore approach this as a serious long-term entrepreneurial commitment to building the Afrihood business within their assigned territory. How We Will Select Shortlisted candidates should expect a rigorous process covering: Local roots and community standing Sales and business-development ability Leadership and charisma Social-media presence and network Commercial and street intelligence Track record Integrity and reputation References and due diligence Ability to commit meaningfully to the opportunity Check how your CV aligns with this job Method of Application Send a convincing cover letter or preferably a video monologu on why you are the right CEO candidate for Afrihood Ilupeju. Send this along with your profile/cv and/or portfolio. All applicatkayions should be sent to hr@afrihood.com with the subject: Project CEO - Afrihood Ilupeju Build your CV for free.
