We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ondo City, Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, monitor revenue and expenses, reconcile transactions, support inventory controls, and provide timely financial reports for YB Fitness and YB Yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding financial obligations.
- Reconcile cash, bank transfers, and POS transactions with daily sales records.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial documents.
- Work with the Yard Manager to reconcile food and beverage inventory with sales records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting procedures and statutory requirements.
- Process and maintain proper documentation for supplier payments and operational expenses.
- Monitor YB Yard revenue, costs, margins, and overall financial performance.
- Support payroll preparation and other employee-related financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily income, expenses, purchases, and other financial transactions.
- Identify financial discrepancies and escalate them promptly.
- Assist management with budgeting and expenditure monitoring.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- 2–3 years' relevant accounting experience.
- Relevant professional qualification or progress towards one is an advantage.
- Strong numerical ability, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
