Key Accountabilities
- Manage, maintain and monitor the company's cloud infrastructure and services.
- Configure and manage cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
- Monitor system performance, availability and security.
- Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide technical support when required.
- Implement routine system updates, backups and maintenance.
- Monitor cloud resource usage and recommend cost-saving improvements.
- Support cloud deployment, infrastructure optimisation and security practices.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in cloud administration, cloud engineering, or cloud infrastructure management at a mid-level or senior level.
- Strong practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate meaningful hands-on experience across these platforms; familiarity with only one platform will not meet the full requirement.
- Experience deploying, configuring, maintaining, and managing cloud infrastructure and services.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps principles, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Experience designing, implementing, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), access controls, encryption, and security best practices.
- Ability to monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Experience with cloud performance monitoring, resource optimisation, and cost management.
- Knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architecture.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation using tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent.
- Understanding of networking concepts, virtualisation, operating systems, and cloud connectivity.
