We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor to join our hospitality team in Ibadan.
Key Responsibilities
- Review accounting records, transactions, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Conduct periodic audits of financial, operational, and administrative processes.
- Support management in risk assessment and mitigation initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
- Investigate discrepancies, fraud risks, and control weaknesses.
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure implementation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN or in progress) will be an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Internal Audit, Audit, Accounting, or a related role.
