Job summary
We’re hiring a Venue Coordinator at The Alcove Events Studios to run our three event spaces in Ikeja.
You’ll lead client inspections, manage setup and turnover between bookings, coordinate vendors on event days, and oversee cleaning and maintenance.
You’ll report to the event manager.
Expect regular weekend and evening work.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Accountabilities
- Meet prospective clients at inspections, answer their questions, and turn inquiries into bookings.
- Supervise external vendors (decorators, caterers, etc.) during setup and teardown, and make sure they follow venue rules.
- Supervise security and cleaning staff so the space is safe and clean before, during, and after every event.
- Stay on-site for every event, handle issues as they come up, and check the space for damage afterward.
- Check ACs, lighting, power, and other facilities before each booking, report faults, and follow up until they’re fixed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year in event, venue, or hospitality operations.
- Confident dealing with clients face-to-face and following up on inquiries until they book.
- Calm under pressure and able to fix problems on the spot.
- Living in or near Ikeja is an advantage.
