Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's menu and quality standards.
- Follow recipes, portion-control guidelines, and management instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Monitor ingredients and kitchen supplies to minimise waste.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
- Ensure food is properly seasoned, presented, and served on time.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
Requirements
- Must have previous cooking experience in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or lounge.
- Ability to prepare a variety of meals to a consistent standard.
- Willingness to comply with food safety standards and kitchen procedures.
