The role provides practical exposure to day-to-day accounting and finance activities while developing the candidate's professional skills.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern / Graduate Trainee to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recording daily financial transactions.
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Accounts/Operations team.
- Prepare and update Excel-based financial records and reports.
- Support preparation and filing of invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
- Support month-end reporting and other finance-related activities.
- Support tracking of customer payments, expenses and outstanding balances.
- Assist with petty cash and expense documentation.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and organised accounting records.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate or post-NYSC candidate.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Must be honest, responsible, and able to handle confidential information.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- 0–1 year of experience; internship/industrial attachment
Experience
is an advantage.
B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
