Job Summary
The Account Officer will be responsible for supporting the company's financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring transactions, and ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation of accounts.
Elkris Bio Health Foods Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and result-driven professional to join our team as an Account Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and periodic account statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
- Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary financial documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment schedules, and other financial documents.
- Monitor income, expenses, and company payments.
- Support payroll and other accounting-related activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Bachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must be resident in or able to conveniently commute to Lagos Mainland.
Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant accounting experience.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
