Gadgas Limited is a multi-faceted company specializing in the procurement of oilfield service and maintenance equipment for the oil and gas industry.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Regular supervision and reporting on bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, and accounts payable and all other General Ledger accounts.
- Monthly General Ledger review and report.
- Prepare Quarterly Management Report
- Liaise with the Bank Accounts Officers, Tax Authorities, and External Auditors
- Prepare Accounts Department monthly reports
- Monitor and report to the CEO, the Company’s financial investment and placement.
- Oversee cheque lodgment, and monitor bank balance/statements.
- Supervise general administrative duties in the Accounting Department.
- Monitor depreciation, amortization, and prepayment journals
- Regular supervision and reporting on account balances
- Fixed assets register update
- Oversee the process of retirement of approved and disbursed funds, and ensure compliance.
- Ensure that accounting guidelines, policies and processes of the organization are strictly followed.
- Monitor Company expenses Income Tax matters.
- Transactions posting into General Ledger
- Follow up any outstandings items with the Banks
Qualifications
