Job Summary
We are recruiting a highly competent, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes and other statutory obligations.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor hotel revenue, expenditure, cash flow, and budget performance.
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of daily hotel revenues and financial transactions.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant accounting experience.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Previous accounting experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
