We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, reporting, budgeting, payments, and financial controls for a serviced apartment facility in Apo, Abuja.
The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within hotels, serviced apartments, restaurants, property businesses, or other hospitality environments.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and the Operations Manager to maintain accurate financial records, monitor financial performance, control costs, and support sound business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor income and expenses against approved budgets.
- Support management with financial information and analysis when required.
- Ensure proper documentation and financial controls are maintained.
- Monitor operational costs and identify unusual or unnecessary expenditure.
- Support payroll preparation and staff-related financial records.
- Work with the Operations Manager to monitor financial performance and profitability.
- Process and track vendor payments and supplier accounts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
- Monitor daily revenue, expenses, payments, and collections.
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions, and other financial records.
