Job Title: Accounts Officer
Location: Ajegunle – Olodi Apapa, Lagos
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and numerically inclined
Accounts Officer
to support the company’s daily financial operations and ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and documentation of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and collections
- Identify and report discrepancies in financial or transaction records
- Support petty cash and expense tracking
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents
- Monitor customer accounts, payments, and outstanding balances
- Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions
- Reconcile sales records with stock movement and transaction records
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Reconcile daily cash collections, POS, bank transactions, and customer payments
- Work closely with the Accountant, Sales, Inventory, and Store teams to ensure accurate records
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Good communication and organizational skills
Good understanding of basic accounting and reconciliation processes
HND/B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills
Candidates residing within Ajegunle, Olodi Apapa, Apapa, Amuwo Odofin, Mile 2, or nearby areas will be given preference.
2–4 years' relevant experience, preferably in FMCG, wholesale, or distribution
Salary: N200,000 per month.
