We are looking to hire Architects for our Lagos, Nigeria office with the following
Responsibilities
- Research: The architect will be responsible for researching on projects worked on and bringing in fresh perspectives.
- Ad-hoc
- Effectively manage ad-hoc duties as assigned by the senior architect(s) and Head of Design.
- Design and working drawings: The architect will be responsible for working on design and working drawings assigned to him or her.
- Paperwork and documentation: The Architect will be responsible for completing and filing the paperwork used in the design process. The job holder will help create proposals and complete construction paperwork for buildings.
- Design projects: Work with other architect(s) and the Head of design on ideas and projects. This includes planning and designing alongside a team of Architects and engineers, brainstorming project ideas, completing design/ working drawings, model making and assisting in reviewing project proposals.
- Project tracking: The job holder will ensure that projects follow legal specifications and company procedures, he/she will ensure all required documents and paperwork are submitted before the construction process starts and will provide updates when requested.
