Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG/Argon welding on stainless steel and other metals.
- Fabricate and assemble machine components, tanks, pipes, frames and fittings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Produce clean, precise welds with minimal distortion.
- Inspect welds and troubleshoot welding defects.
- Carry out grinding, polishing and finishing where required.
- Maintain welding equipment and comply with safety standards.
Requirements
OND, HND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test or equivalent.
3–5 years’ practical TIG/Argon welding experience.
Strong stainless-steel welding and fabrication skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Experience with pipes, tanks, process equipment or hygienic/food-grade welding is an advantage.
Good attention to detail, discipline and commitment to quality.
