Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of local and continental dishes.
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and meal production.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Prepare ingredients and cooking stations before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Monitor stock usage and report shortages to management.
- Assist in reducing food wastage and controlling kitchen costs.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items and ingredients.
- Support other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Chef, Cook, or similar role.
